Reviews:

The sound quality on this live record is mostly pretty good. Chron Gen does three songs in the UK punk vein, catchy but not too interesting. The rest of the bands all do standard west coast-style hardcore punk, except of course for JFA's cover of "Low Rider." I think I would have liked this more if it wasn't live, but that aspect only takes away from the record. The Fartz' song at the end is really good, though.

Reading the names of the bands and their songs, you can probably guess that this is a heavy metal comp. Aside from the album's title, I'm still not sure how this is related to the other two Eastern Front records, or punk rock in general. The first record is really bad quality live stuff, all either thrash/speed metal or cheesey wank metal (except Raw Power, what are they doing on this record??). Besides the fact that the first song is actually DRI's "I Don't Need Society," it's total shit (I admit I'm not a big fan of the genre in the first place). The same can be said for the second record, which is studio stuff. Actually, the last song is only half-bad, it's 70's rock and a nice change of pace from all the crap.
