Label: Metal Blade Records
2. Hungry Child
3. Happily Ever After
5. Ahh Blugh (Milking the Sick Farce)
By this record, COC had moved way more to the metal side of crossover. The tempos are slower, the songs are more complex, and the vocals are sung with lots of echo. Lyrically COC deserve praise for not going for the "Heavy Metal Mentality" and keeping their lyrics relevant and critical of society. Musically... I suppose for what they were doing, this record is alright, but beside the first song (which is faster and more lively than the other four, if you can call the last one a song) this record can't hold my attention. If I want to listen to good metal I'll put on the first couple Metallica records.
