This site is an informative site for those interested in learning about NLHE strategy, and how computation has affected the game. I will be covering basic strategy, analyzing the argument over how good a bot can get, and whether I think a GTO (game theory optimal) bot can exist.
I am an undergraduate student studying finance. I have always been interested in games of different sorts (from board to video), and have been interested in poker for about two and a half years. I've started studying the strategy more deeply recently, and this site is a reflection of that. I am interested in other poker games such as PLO, but this website focuses specifically on NLHE. I am also interested in options pricing and trading and equity valuation/security analysis, which require a similar style of thinking as NLHE, so it makes sense that those activities appeal to me. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for the content of this site.
If you do not know how to play NLHE, please refer to the rules here. All further discussion will assume you have a basic understanding of the rules.
